GTS is funded through our wish to improve the lot of as many Gambians as possible, by providing an education and where possible employment.

There is so much hype nowadays that I really want to keep the GTS site as clear of unsolicited marketing as possible - if you enjoy the endless banners and pop-up adverts that you seem to get on every internet site you visit - then I'm really sorry.

The money has not come from GTS funds, it arrived with a note, praising the site and saying "the enclosed will rid you of the ads that you hate so much - I hate them too and they spoil your wonderful site"

I have no idea who sent the donation, but many many thanks, at leat for 12 months all the brave net services are now totally advert free.
