If you have holiday pictures and a story to tell of your trip to The Gambia, please share the experience with others.

Despite the efforts of the Holiday programmes on TV relatively few people go to The Gambia and even fewer go out with the local people after stories of people being hassled and pressed for charity.

Using a GTS host, we guarantee you will have a wonderful time and meet nothing but kindness and hospitality.

It is true that The Gambia is desperately short of economic growth, but sensible and unselfish tourism can help to make a difference.

If you are thinking of visiting The Gambia, please consider supporting GTS, it will save you money and ensure that you make the very most of your stay.

Thanks again Amanda, I hope you and Phil will visit again soon and pass on the news that Gambia is an excellent holiday venue when you do it right.

Amanda, Phil and Angela visited Kololi in October/Nov 1999, saw our site and sent us these photographs taken on a local trip with Boss - (Abdulie) to his village and compound in Sukuta.

Phil with children in Sukuta, what a friendly bunch!

Go Bossman! Such a funky mover!
This is how the Gambians prepare a groom for marriage.
