As my car had been broken into by our Uncle Sam security guard, we had to use a taxi for a couple of days till the car was fixed, the cost in taxis fares was around 400D for a half day.
It is much cheaper to travel by public taxi, which is really runs like a bus, going between two fixed locations. Cheap, but time consuming and very tiring - locations where one taxi drops you and another picks you up can be up to 1/2 a mile apart.
