The truth is - you simply can't please all the people all of the time.

On one truly spectacular night at GTS, when we had standing ovations for the cultural group playing on stage and chef was called out several times to be congratulated by guests - one English lady living in Gambia approached me on her way out to tell me that she wanted me to know that the service was simply appalling and that she would never call again.

I felt the cold chill of colonialism run down my back.

Hi everyone,

A great big thank-you to everyone at GTS for making our holiday absolutely brilliant!!!

Seriously, without Yanks, Jerreh, Seyco, Kabs, Seedy, Ida, Lamin and all of you we would have missed so much, Oh and Adam, your not so bad either.

On Saturday we were looking at the holiday snaps and we were really choked, it was one of the best holidays any of us has ever had.

Going to Jinnak was a true Gambian Experience! One which we would love to repeat, (we have already been to the travel agents to check a price for next year.)

Being under a big black sky and seeing all the stars was truly memorable, something many people will never experience.

Fran, you have a remarkable staff at GTS, who are professional, passionate, and really care about what they do, they certainly made us feel "at home" we certainly wish you well in your future ventures.

With our love to everyone, Ivan and Vivienne - Paul and Alison

P.S We miss the peanut soup, benechin, domada.........better stop we`re starting to dribble!

Good feedback is always nice, but we do try to publish a balance of the feedback we get good and bad, happily since Kabs and Adam have led GTS 95% of the feedback has been embarrassingly encouraging.
